Wayside will be hosting a grand total of
SEVEN
summer camp experiences this year!
Why? Because we want to meet the needs and interests of every child that walks through our doors with the hope that through the meeting of those needs, they might learn of the abundant life offered through Jesus Christ.

We will start the summer with our Free IncrediWorld Vacation Bible School. With IncrediWorld Amazement Park, children will learn about our amazing Creator God and His incredible world! They'll discover that God's fingerprint can be seen throughout His creation as they explore the amazingly designed features in the animal kingdom. And they'll uncover His plan of salvation that unfolded in Genesis and continued with Jesus's death and Resurrection. VBS will be open to all children ages 3 months to 13 years.

 We will be hosting Wayside Kidz Camp from June 18th to August 17th. WKC will include a variety of fun and exciting field trips and daily access to the church's air conditioned gym and newly redone field, providing a more traditional camp experience. Wayside Kidz Camp serves children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Wayside Kidz Camp will also be offering aftercare until 6:00pm for all other camps offered at Wayside this summer.  KidShine performing arts camp will run from July 16 to July 20 and will serve children from 2nd grade to 7th grade. KidShine week is filled with music, drama, dance, puppets, instruments, scenery painting and fun, ending with an amazing Friday night performance. No previous experience is needed and there are no auditions; every camper can choose several things he/she wants to do in the final performance. Wayside Child Development Preschool will run from June
11th to August 10th and will serve children from infant age to 4K. WCDP is a ministry of Wayside Baptist Church whose primary function has been ministering to children and their families for over 50 years, seeking to reflect Christ’s love by ministering to each child and family.

George Camp will run from July 30 to August 3rd and will serve children from 2nd grade (completers) to 7th grade (completers). George Camp, a production of Vision2Hear, exists to provide kids with an incredibly unique experience where they will learn songs and bible verses in sign language and engage in fun, off-the-wall activities while doing it. This camp will run under the WKC umbrella, no additional registration will be necessary. Save on George Camp by register for more than one week at WKC!

 The South Florida Youth Symphony camp will run from June 18 to June 29. SFYS will serve children from elementary school to age 19 and will include classes in instrument technique beginning through advanced, music theory, history, composition, jazz, small ensemble playing, and music appreciation. On the last day of camp, the children will perform in a special concert to showcase what they have learned and practiced.

 The Benny Fragela Basketball Camp will serve boys and girls, ages 6 to 17, and will run from June 11 through August 3 (No camp 4th of July week). Players in the camp will receive top-quality, fully-trained coaching and will have exposure to some of the top professional athletes in the world. In this day and age, it’s vital that we teach our children that the Bible is more than just a dusty book of stories. We need to show them God’s Word connects to every area of our lives and is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago, so they will know its amazing message of salvation is true!

IncrediWorld Amazement Park:
A Thrill Ride Through God's Creation
Our children hear the same story about God's creation everywhere they look—that it's not God's world but is instead the result of a big bang and millions of years of random processes. Movies, TV programs, and books all teach that the incredibly designed animals we see today are simply the result of molecules-to-man evolutionary processes. God has no place in this fictional account and our children are left wondering if the Bible is really true since it teaches that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth!
Creature Feature
At IncrediWorld, we want to give God the glory He deserves for who He is and what He has made! Your kids will go wild as they experience God's incredible world of wonders and learn that the Bible tells the truth in Genesis about God creating all things in six actual days! They'll find out that true science supports the biblical account! And they'll be amazed to discover the incredible design features in animals that showcase the handiwork of the Creator!
Main Focus
Of course, the most important reason we want to encourage kids to trust the Bible is so that they'll embrace the salvation message woven throughout each book. Our desire is that they'll understand that their sin separates them from a loving God but that He has provided a way to heaven through His Son Jesus Christ so that they'll receive the gift of eternal life!
It's excitement galore as we head to Answers in Genesis's IncrediWorld Amazement Park, where kids take a thrill ride through God's creation. So strap yourself in and get ready for the ride of your life!
Important Information
The main event is 9am-12:30pm for 4K-6th grade daily with no cost. Before and after Vacation Bible Camp experience will be available for a fee. Children younger than 4K can attend if their parent or guardian volunteers for VBS. To volunteer please fill out our volunteer form.

Vacation Bible School themes that include music, skits, games, crafts, snacks, and a life application Bible lesson—9am-11am.
Study Hall will be one hour between VBS and lunch in which children will be able to work on homework or read, keeping up with school even on days off—11am-12pm.
Track times that include fun indoor and outdoor classes like arts and crafts, sports and recreation, and fun learning activities—1:00pm-4:00pm.
In house events and field trips
Before and aftercare is available from 7:30am-6:00pm with afternoon access to Wayside’s air conditioned gym. Before and aftercare will have planned and supervised activities.
*The Teacher Work Day Tuition is now set at $35 per day for all new children registering. As always, if financial aid is needed, please fill out the form below and submit it to the office at least 7 days before the Teacher Work Day being registered for.

Wayside Kidz Camp Staff is a team of adults and teens who love Jesus Christ, have a passion for sharing that love with children, and have an endless supply of energy!
There are three roles for team members that make up our Wayside Kidz Camp Staff. All three roles must work together to create the finished product of Wayside Kidz Camp. The three include several WKC Counselors, WKC CIT's, and one WKC Camp Director. For more information on each position, please click on the title. This year, our WKC Camp Director will be Scott Parker. We are thrilled to have him in our team this summer and look forward to seeing all that God has in store for Wayside Kidz Camp.

Wayside Kidz Camp is a ministry to the children and families of our church and community to provide a fun, wholesome camp experience during the summer and days throughout the school year.
.jpg) Our purpose is to assist working families by providing an affordable, caring and Christ-centered environment for their children to attend. We know it is always ideal for children to be with their families during seasonal school vacations, holidays, and teacher work days, but in today's world that is not always possible. Wayside Kidz Camp is here to provide a caring and safe environment for children to be in while they are making friends, playing, and learning. Our goal is to minister to the whole child through the arts, sports, practical and fun Bible lessons, and friendship.
